Cost to train 20 displaced or impoverished ladies
Learning to sew in our Free Sewing College for the year To run the free sewing college for 20 student for 1 year Sewing machines $150.00 AUD each 7 machines = $ 1050.00 Teacher (Seamstress) is $100.00 per month = $1200.00 Books, materials, scissors, pencils, ect for the year for each ladies is $20.00 per person X20 =$ 400.00 Cooked lunch meal for the ladies per year =$ 300.00 -------------- =$2950.00 AUD |
Future Focus Ministries Australia
Created the free sewing centres to teach widows and deserted young women to support themselves,. This program sets women free from the bondage of poverty. Owning a debt free sewing business or to work in a sewing centre allows these women to be self-sufficient by earning a reliable, safe, good income. There sewing college provides an important supportive environment for the women to met together in a safe and friendly building. The sewing college teaches these young women to support themselves, so that they are able to earn a living. The school has been very successful with over 150 ladies trained. The ladies have jobs or started their own sewing business. All ladies will receive a certificate, showing their training, fabric, scissors, a sari and are able to find jobs in their new trade Some of the poorest ladies also are gifted sewing machines. The project provides trainees with an independent source of income. Part of the ladies training is to make clothing to sell in village markets |

32 women learned their trade to sew with Covid restrictions and other hardships.
These women have completed their course.
They can provide for their families.

5th Graduation April 7 2019
Our 20 ladies graduated on 7th April with a party.
All girls received a certificate and dressmaking scissors and six ladies received a sewing machine each.
The certificates enable the girls to get jobs and earn money to support themselves and their families.
These classes are free for these widows or deserted wives.
