Vempadam Village well
|
Vempadam Village is in Pusapatirega Mandal in the Viziangaram District.
Pastor John Victor visited Vempadam Village where the people have been facing water scarcity for the past few years.
There is no well and the people have to walk long distances to get water.
As you can see from the photos below, see the ground is very dry and dusty.
Vempadam Village is 40Km from Padamnabham Village (Pastor John Victor’s town).
The Senior Pastor there is T. Barnabas and wife’s name is Easter. He is 80 years old and has been the pastor there since 2000.
We will drill the well in February, in Vempadam Village.
Please pray for us, thank you so much.
The pump was put in on Feb 10th, the cement was poured and now is to be officially opened on Sunday 15th Feb February 2015.
There is now fresh water for 2,000 people in a very dry land as we have drilled another well. This is thanks to a kind couple that donated the money.
Successful clean fresh water.
Pastor Barnabas, his wife Esther, villagers and children came to watch the well being drilled.
