Healthy Livestock Program Badlapur Village, Mumbai India
In the wake of the devastating COVID-19 lockdowns, families across the rural villages of Maharashtra were struggling to rebuild their lives. Among them, Pastor Sujil saw both the deep need in his community and a quiet opportunity waiting on his six acres of lush, well-watered land in Badlapur Village, near Mumbai.
Managing a small goat-breeding initiative is one of the most effective, sustainable paths out of poverty. Goats are hardy, reproduce quickly, and offer milk, meat, and fertilizer on minimal land. Recognizing this potential, Future Focus Ministries joined hands with Pastor Sujil and local farmhands in 2022 to launch an ambitious two-year breeding project—funded by the generous donations of C3 Shellharbour’s congeration
Phase 1: Building the Herd (2022)With land, water, and dedicated farmhands ready, the project officially kicked off with the purchase of 12 prime goats:
Phase 2: New Life and First GiftsThe hard work quickly bore fruit. On November 17, 2022, the farm welcomed its very first newborn kids: a grey buck named Peter and a black-and-brown buck named John.
Not long after, the first practical gift was made. Two young goats--Mary and John—were handed over to a struggling local family. It wasn't charity; it was the spark of a new, sustainable livelihood.
By February 2023, the farm was buzzing with life as three more healthy kids arrived: a pair of energetic twin males and a striking black-and-white female, proudly cradled by Pastor Sujil.

A good healthy heard was established by 2024
Phase 3: The Legacy (2024 & Beyond)Over two years, the herd flourished under careful management. By the end of 2024, the project reached its planned climax.
The raised goats were sold into local markets, turning months of dedicated farm work into a major financial harvest.
The proceeds were directed straight to the Blessing Home Orphanage, funding crucial renovations and expansion.
The Impact Today: What started as 12 goats on a six-acre plot in Badlapur has transformed into a safe, renovated sanctuary where 35 children are now fed, educated, loved, and given a bright future.

- 6 Barbari Goats: A versatile dual-purpose breed excellent for both milk and meat.
