Medical Camp at Sirivara Village 24 and 25 September 2025
On 23 September at 7:00 pm, John Victor and Kumari began our journey to Chiravara Village with two cars and our team members. Our doctors and workers are staying overnight at Pastor Paul’s place in Makuva Village and Mandal. Tomorrow morning at 6:30 am, we will travel into the hill area — about 1 hour and 30 minutes of uphill journey. Please keep us in your prayers for a safe journey, good weather, a fruitful medical camp, and a blessed Gospel Crusade in the night. Last week, I was busy preparing and packing the medicines for this camp.
We recently had the privilege of conducting a medical camp in Sirivara village, which lies on the border of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. The people here belong to the Savara community and are in great need of health support, as there are no hospitals or clinics nearby. The closest hospital is about 60 km away, making access to healthcare extremely difficult.
This camp was conducted on the occasion of Victor’s and Annie’s birthdays in September. Sirivara is about 140 km from Padmanabham. We travelled part of the distance by vehicle through hilly terrain, and the rest we completed on foot.
By the grace of God, we successfully organized the medical camp:
We thank God for this wonderful opportunity to serve the people of Sirivara and bring both physical healing and the Word of God to them.

By the grace of God, we successfully organized the medical camp:
- 254 patients attended and received treatment.
- 11 pastors participated in the program.
- This was the first ever medical camp to be held in this village.
- The people were overjoyed to receive care and medicines.
- Pastor Paul, who leads 15 churches in this area, hosted us and helped gather the people. On the same day, we conducted a meeting where many attended, heard the Word of God, and experienced His presence. Due to heavy rain, the meeting was held indoors.
- Pastor Israel Raj brought the medical team of doctors and helpers.
- Pastor Elisha from Visakhapatnam generously provided food and water for all – including bread, water bottles, breakfast, and lunch.
- Pastor Paul arranged our travel from Makkuva to Sirivara.
- Our church members, Sister Mary and Sister Ammaji, also contributed financially to make this possible.
We thank God for this wonderful opportunity to serve the people of Sirivara and bring both physical healing and the Word of God to them.

27 February 2025 The medical camp at Palapu Dugad Village was a truly meaningful and impactful event. Thanks to the dedication and teamwork of the 13-member group—including the doctors—we were able to reach this remote area and provide much-needed care.
Pastor Israel Raju’s support was instrumental. His willingness to bring his 4WD vehicle, along with the use of an auto for transporting people, helped us overcome the difficult terrain and logistical challenges.
The turnout of 150 people and the joy reflected in their eyes was deeply moving. Sharing God’s love and distributing sarees to widows in need was a heartfelt act of compassion.
We are also grateful for the kind words from Medical Officer Srinivas Rao, who recognised the importance of this outreach. His appreciation added to the sense of fulfillment felt by the entire team.
It’s clear that the camp left a lasting impact—not only on those we served, but also on all who took part.

When Paul said, 'I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision' (Acts 26:19), he meant there's only one acceptable response to God's plan - obedience!
William Carey, considered the father of modern missions, gave up comfort and fortune to go to India and introduce the gospel. One of his more memorable quotes is: 'Attempt great things for God, expect great things from God!' But you can only say that with confidence when you know what God has called you to do. What he ordains, he sustains! When you set your own goals you lack a heart-deep confidence that God is doing the work, so you wear yourself out thinking it's all up to you. However, when you know God has given you a vision for your life, you trust him, even when you can't see any way to bring it to pass.
