Esther House for Girls India
Location: Padmanabham village, Andhra Pradesh State, India
At Future Focus Ministries India we run a well thought out support system for our boys and girls. Having two separate homes with live-in Indian widow ladies provides both structure and a nurturing presence that these children desperately need. The widows themselves find purpose and community in this role as well.
This long term care approach is impressive.
- Physical safety and care the homes and regular meals
- Educational support A dedicated Indian teacher helping with studies
- Emotional and spiritual guidance Pastor John Victor and his wife Kumari
- Cultural continuity everyone speaking Telugu, maintaining their language and identity.
- The children also learn English at school.
Seeing the older children succeed is incredibly encouraging for the younger children who are just arriving. they can see living proof that this opportunity is real and that their dreams are possible.

Our Children’s Christmas Party Lunch, was held on 15 December,
Was a joyful and memorable day for everyone. All the children received special Christmas presents,
including brand-new clothes, which brought so many smiles and excitement.
The celebration was filled with singing, fun games, and lots of laughter, followed by a shared lunch together as one big family.
The house mums (widows who lovingly care for the children and live in the two homes) also joined in the celebration.
It was wonderful to see them taking part in the joy and festivities. As a small way of honouring and blessing them, each house mum was given a new sari and a pair of shoes. It was a beautiful day of togetherness, generosity, and thankfulness as we celebrated the love of Jesus at Christmas.

Established on July 29, 2016, our long-term project focuses on housing, educating, and nurturing these children to help them build brighter futures.
The need We address In India, particularly in Andhra Pradesh, vulnerable girls face significant risks:
- Young girls as young as 6 years old without family protection are at high risk of being trafficked
- Rising urban incomes have created increased demand for domestic workers
- Child trafficking for domestic servitude has become a serious concern throughout the region
- Without intervention, these children face exploitation, abuse, and lost opportunities
- Caring widows from the local community serve as house mothers, providing nurturing supervision
- Girls receive safe housing, nutritious meals, and emotional support
- Education is a cornerstone of our program, giving girls tools for independence
- Cultural sensitivity is maintained, with staff speaking Telugu, the local language
- Each child receives individual attention and care in a family-like atmosphere
- Protection from trafficking and exploitation
- Quality education and development opportunities
- Emotional healing and renewed hope
- A loving community where they can thrive
