19 May 2025. Excursion trip to Vigram, our girls and boys homes.
We all, including children—both boys and girls—went on an excursion trip to Vizag. We visited several places around the city, but we spent most of our time at Rushikonda Beach and the nearby park along the seashore.
All the children thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the beautiful environment. I also arranged a special lunch at a nice hotel, which everyone appreciated. The kids had a great time playing in the park and exploring the surroundings.
We enjoyed delicious food and some snacks as well. In the evening, by the grace of God, we all returned home safely.
Some senior students also participated in this trip. They have now been selected for further studies and are hoping to join government colleges.
Thank you!

At Future Focus Ministries India we run a well thought out support system for our boys and girls. Having two separate homes with live-in Indian widow ladies provides both structure and a nurturing presence that these children desperately need. The widows themselves find purpose and community in this role as well. This long term care approach is impressive.

Cultural continuity everyone speaking Telugu, maintaining their language and identity. The children also learn English at school. The transition from displacement to stability takes time.
These children have likely experienced trauma and loss, so learning to trust that this safety is real and permanent is a journey in itself. The fact that some have been with you us since 2012 and are now achieving their goals is wonderful evidence of our long-term impact of the work caring for these displaced children.
Seeing the older children succeed is incredibly encouraging for the younger children who are just arriving. they can see living proof that this opportunity is real and that their dreams are possible.
